The Georgetown Entertainment & Media Alliance (GEMA) of The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University is an organization of graduate business students who have an interest in the fields of sports, entertainment and media. GEMA will strive to help MBAs learn more about career opportunities in these dynamic industries as well as to help members develop the skills needed to succeed in these fields through participation in various events and activities. GEMA at MSB also will work closely with Georgetown’s overall GEMA organization in an effort to connect with Georgetown alumni already working within the sports, entertainment and media communities. GEMA will look to sponsor several career-related events throughout the years, including:

1. GEMA Day
2. Conferences
3. Consulting Projects

These events will allow our members to network directly with professionals in sports, media and/or entertainment while developing and growing their own strengths and talents. Keep checking this website throughout the year for information about these events! GEMA will also work to build awareness about the landscape of the sports, entertainment and media industries and how MBAs are playing a more integral role than ever in these fields. We will do this by working with faculty, administration and admissions to provide more direct resources for students interested in pursuing related career goals.
