A PROGRESSIVE APPROACH
Many companies face a critical shortage of leadership talent, and they are looking to part-time MBA programs to meet their needs. Being in the Georgetown MBA Evening Program puts you in the sights of corporations looking to improve their management quality. Employers know that an Evening Program graduate from Georgetown went through the same curriculum with the same faculty as a full-time program graduate. During the three years of the Evening Program you will work closely with the Career Management team to develop career strategies. We help you create a professional plan and determine how your talents can position you for career-long rewards.
1-2-3 CAREER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
We deliver a three-part career management progression, using online research tools, assessment instruments, facilitated group learning, and one-on-one coaching.
ORGANIZING AND EXPLORING.
We begin by structuring your career management effort: mapping objectives to resources and establishing time-lines. We assess your strengths, interests, expertise and market opportunities. You learn to articulate your value and begin developing career-advancing relationships.
CREATING MATERIALS AND STRATEGIES.
Precision about what you offer and how it relates to the interests of employers is imperative when communicating about yourself. We help you develop memorable and highly relevant resumes, cover letters, verbal pitches and interview content.
CONQUERING THE MARKETPLACE.
Our goal is to equip you to impress employers, whether inside or outside your current company. We focus on employer approach techniques, interview navigation and offer negotiation. Students working with the Career Management Office have received significant promotions at their current employers or have advanced to new positions at other major companies and organizations. |
