OFF-CAMPUS HOUSING

Welcome to the Neighborhood

As a Georgetown MBA student, you will be living in one of the world's most exciting cities! All Georgetown Univeristy graduate students live in off-campus housing.

Washington, D.C. (a.k.a., "The District") is an exciting city with a diverse selection of neighborhoods in which to live. Many students choose to live in the following areas because of these neighborhoods' distinctive personalities and accessibility to campus:

  • Georgetown / Glover Park
  • Dupont Circle / Kalorama
  • Adams Morgan / U Street
  • Downtown
  • Capitol Hill
  • Arlington / Rosslyn (Virginia)
  • Ballston (Virginia)
  • Alexandria (Virginia)
Finding a Place to Call Home

Georgetown University offers two housing search programs during which students may stay in campus dormitories while searching for an apartment.  Participants also receive apartment information and can seek advice from the Georgetown Office of Off-Campus Housing.

Incoming students also have access to a variety of online resources offered by both the university and the MBA Program to facilitate their search.

Life in the D.C. Metropolitan Area

Our nation's capital is filled with activities for everyone! Washington features monuments and museums honoring the nation's past and boasts an exciting nightlife. The city's diversity is also displayed during year-round cultural events such as the Cherry Blossom Festival and the multitude of activities that occur on The National Mall.
