IEMBA's four one-week residencies are "deep immersion" experiences that allow you to test your classroom knowledge and take your skills to the next level in real projects for companies. You and your team will work around the clock. Your mastery of business strategy and project management will be tested as you manage complex team dynamics and learn how to get the most from yourself and others.

Residency 1 lays the foundation for the program's learning experience. It focuses on the strategic issues facing a single company or industry. With presentations by faculty, company executives and industry analysts, student teams analyze and prepare recommendations to a panel of judges.

Residency 2 is a business planning residency that brings in angel investors and venture capitalists to review students' plans and gives students extraordinary exposure to the world of entrepreneurship. It often results in one or two plans every year attracting real venture capital interest.

Residency 3 takes teams overseas to work with a local or multinational corporation grappling with real issues in real time.

Residency 4 takes our IEMBA students abroad again to consult with a smaller, more entrepreneurial business, capped by political briefings and cultural visits in the region.
