The Executive Master's in Leadership program is a distinctive Master's degreed program that focuses on the passion, purpose, and practical skills necessary for effective leadership. This program provides the conceptual knowledge and action focus that enhances an individual's ability to lead effectively and with a moral purpose. The integration of practical skills with passion and moral purpose is the defining characteristic of the program.
The Master's program analyzes leadership as a set of skills on three different levels of analysis: individual, interpersonal, and institutional. On the individual level of analysis, the focus is on personal leadership action plan development, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. On the interpersonal level of analysis, the focus is on negotiation and influence skills. On the institutional level, the focus is on organizational and institution-building skills. These skill sets shape the curriculum of the Executive Master's in Leadership program.
The program meets approximately every other weekend, on Fridays from 1:00 pm - 8:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, on the Georgetown University campus.
