Message from the Dean

Dear MSB Alumni/ae,

During these extraordinary times, I, along with the entire faculty and staff of the McDonough School are looking for creative and meaningful ways to support our Alumni/ae, many of whom have been adversely impacted by the current financial crisis.

As such, we have recently made the decision to alter the format of our "Alumni Networking Events," held across the country. The McDonough School will meet the challenge of the times head on in the best way we know how -- as facilitators. We will assemble not just one, but many of the best minds Georgetown has to offer at each of these events. They will not just speak to you, but converse with you. By bringing together some of the finest thinkers and practitioners of business, we can help to answer questions and foster fruitful discussion on one of the most dramatic series events in the history of United States financial markets.

Please join me in a series of panel-discussion, open-forums, and round-table talks focusing directly on the subject which weighs heavily on all of our minds. If you have already planned to join us at our event in your area, I look forward to meeting you and taking part in the discussion. If you have not yet made plans, I encourage you to do so. I sincerely hope that we can face the challenge of the times together as a community.

Sincerely,
Dean George Daly
